MISSION APPEAL: Many thanks to all who contributed to the appeal by the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception.  £747.85 was raised.

WOMEN’S SPIRITUALITY GROUP : will meet on last Wed. of month i.e. at 2pm  26th June.

RCIA: There will be a further OPEN  MEETING today, Sunday, 23rd June at 5pm for those interested in learning more about the Catholic Church.

EDINBURGH  MARATHON: Fr. Martin wishes to thank parishioners who supported the recent marathon.  £1,355 was raised for the Ecuador charity from St. Matthew’s parish. 

EDINBURGH 10K: Sharon McNamara would like to thank all who supported her in the recent run.  £325 was raised for the Ecuador charity and this money will go towards education at SagradaFamiliaSchool.

FIRST COMMUNION AND CONFIRMATION: Fr. Martin invites parishioners and groups in the parish to reflect on our recent celebration of these Sacraments, spread over the Sundays of May.  At the next Pastoral Council Meeting on August 25th these views will be aired.

BIBLE ALIVE: July edition is available in the porch with daily readings and reflections.

FEAST OF STS. PETER AND PAUL: is normally a holyday of obligation.  However, as it falls this year on a Saturday, this is NOT the case.

EACHA HOMELESS ACTION: volunteers needed for ‘Wed. Drop-In’ for homeless and those at risk of homelessness. If you can spare a couple of hours each month, you can help by serving teas, coffees etc and chatting.  <ale volunteers especially welcome.  Please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. HILLHOUSE : need volunteers to help in charity shop and at distribution centre, Hill St..  Hillhouse is self-funded and gives clothing, free of charge to children up to 16yrs as well as providing starter packs to new mums.  Lease contact Sarah Hall , 01563 523362 if you have a spare hour or two.

PVG DISCLOSURES: A ‘Signing Session ‘ has been organised for Wed. 24th July for those who need retrospectively checked.  Ie. Already disclosed but don’t have a PVG certificate.  Those involved should bring ID ( passport, driving lic.) and a utility bill/council tax bill.  Help will be on hand.
